Welcome to the PABR Forum

Welcome to PABR.org.uk the website of British American Tobacco’s Pensioners Association. PABR is short for Pensioners Association BAT Rothmans and was chosen because it is both easy to remember and enter into your web browser.
PABR is not an official company site and should not be confused with the BAT’s Pension Fund site.
Since it was set up in 1990 to provide independent representation of pensioners’ collective interests, the Association has become an accepted channel of communication to BAT management and the Pension Fund Trustee.
The Association is run by a Committee elected by members to nine constituencies which represent members’ employment locations.
The Committee receives regular briefings from BAT UK Pension Fund Trustee Directors and from the BAT Pensions team, as well as from other relevant organisations such as the Occupational Pensioners’ Alliance and the National Federation of Occupational Pensioners.
Membership of the Association is free and all pensioners are invited to join. If you are not a member and would like to be, then please click here to contact Mike New, the Association’s secretary.
This website is designed as a series of Forums allowing members to start topics of interest for discussion with other members and/or send private messages to each other. There is a separate Forum for each constituency: Basildon, Liverpool, London Head Offices (Millbank, Staines, Windsor House & Globe House) North East (Darlington & Spennymoor), Northern Ireland, BAT Overseas, Southampton, Rothmans UK & Overseas, and Woking/Corby.
Visit Help for tips on using the Forum and view the Privacy Policy.
There is a News section where you will find items of general interest to all pensioners and more specific notices posted by members and the Administrators. Obituaries will appear regularly.
Finally, there is also an Ask an Admin section, where you can raise any matters or issues that you have about the Forum with its Administrators.
